We are excited to participate in this year’s World Hydropower Congress and look forward to engaging with you at the event. SMEC is honoured to have a speaker to discuss pumped hydro storage and a panel session moderator on clean energy transition. Our team of specialists will be at the event to share our expertise and our successful projects. We welcome the opportunity to connect with you during the congress and discuss potential careers at SMEC.
Delivering advanced hydropower solutions for our clients and partners.
Our network of global and local specialists are experts in all aspects of engineering, collaborating to delivery highly innovative and sustainable solutions.
Across the world we are assisting development agencies and government stakeholders harness the full potential of hydropower. Our expertise extends from small hydropower projects through to 8,000 MW major hydroelectric schemes. Through meticulous analysis we evaluate the critical issues related to each location to customise the most appropriate solution.
Providing global expertise with local knowledge and technical support we have delivered some of the world’s largest and most challenging projects including Snowy 2.0, Ulu Jelai, Kameng Hydropower Station, India, Karot Hydropower Project, Pakistan, the Lesotho Highlands Water Project in the Kingdom of Lesotho Thwake Multi-purpose Water Development Program, Kenya and New Khanki Barrage, Pakistan.
